This air-fryer is a beautiful, sleek, machine that cooks French fries to burger joint krispy perfection. Why the poor review then? One potentially dangerous design flaw: the fry basket has a tendency to release without pressing the fry basket release button. I've owned this machine for just over a week and this has happened three times while I was tossing my fries mid fry cycle (as the instructions indicate). Once the inner fry basket separated mid-toss, falling to the ground and splattering hot, greasy fries all over my kitchen. Additionally the inner fry basket is pretty flimsy and after falling it had bent out of shape and could no longer fit into the machine (I was able bend it back into shape quite easily though). I don't plan on returning this machine since I appreciate its large cooking capacity and overall it works well, but if you dont mind getting a slightly smaller air- fryer I would recommend looking for a different model.
