I have to start off saying that I LOVE this die cutter. It cuts smoothly like butter. The rolling mechanism is smooth and easy to rotate. Cuts are even. In addition this is a LARGE format manual die cutter that can also use the steel rule dies. It is a TRUELY versatile machine. My only issue is that the company is ripping you off with the starter pack. Included in your machine will only be 6x8 cutting pads and embossing pad, NOT the large format pads. This packaging scam has continued despite the release of their 6inch platform version. I have personally contacted the manufacturer regarding the fact that they package the 8.5x12 platform with 6x8 plates, to which they were rude and unresponsive. The end result is that if you want to make use of your large format cutter you will have to spend another $60 to purchase the 8.5x12 embossing plate and two cutting plates.
