Labeling does not indicate the actual quantity of monkfruit- a percentage would be helpful.
The product label indicates that the package contains Monkfruit sweetener(in bold) with erythritol (in small print) priced $22 for 48oz. This gives the impression that Monkfruit sugar is the bulk of the total weight. In my opinion, it may be the other way around- Erythritol(bold) with monkfruit sugar (in small prints). The package claims that this was born as a proprietary mix of these two sugars but no information is given about the quantity of each sugar. Pure Monkfruit sugar is advertised for $25 for 3.5oz Really expensive. I am wondering if the secret proprietary mix of Lakanto's 48 oz product is mostly erythritol and just a pinch of monkfruit sugar given the price for the latter. This the reason for the single star. A family member used it in mango pudding and baked it in a glass dish. The content turned brown and hardened like steel. Could not scrape the product out of the dish. Soaking in water and soap did nothing. I need a sledge hammer to break it and with it the glass dish. Otherwise, this product is sweet and does not leave any after taste.
