Does not seem to be 100% Natural Boars Bristle.
Not 100% Natural Boars Bristle. Our brush had plastic bristles and not a single boar's bristle ... bought this for my son who currently has short but full head of hair.
He complained that the brush had scratched his head when he tried using it. When I took a look at his scalp he has scratch marks on it and on the back of his neck. Scratches that looked as if he had stuck his head in a black berry bush and the thorns had lightly scratched him up... after closely inspecting the bristles they turned out to be plastic. Some of the bristles are cut at an angle to give off a list brownish appearance kind of like when you have split ends , I'm assuming this us to make it look like real boars hair from a distance... I've been around pigs and wild boars none of them have hair this rough and stiff.
I took a pair of finger nail clippers to one bristle and the sound of the bristle being clipped sounded similar to the snap of a plastic price tag being clipped.
I've attached 3 photos of the bristles I pulled from the brush .
