For the most part this product works as advertised, but it has one major drawback that is not mentioned anywhere in the description. When you set the length of time you want the switch to be on for it works as expected, and once the time has it expired and the lights have gone off it it will quickly turn on if it senses any movement. However, if you manually turn off the switch it will not turn back on again until the set time expires. In other words, the timer runs when the lights are on as it should, but it also runs when they are manually turned off. What this means is that if you set the timer for 20 minutes and then manually turn off the lights the lights will not come back on if movement is sensed until the 20 minutes has expired. The only way to get the lights to come on during this period is to manually turn them on. Once the 20 minutes have expired without any motion being detected the switch will turn the lights on as expected. This doesn't work for me whatsoever as I need the lights to come on whenever movement is detected, regardless of whether the lights were automatically or manually shut off. What I find peculiar is that this behavior is not present in the TopGreener occupancy sensors I have bought in the past so it must be a recent change. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for my situation so will be exchanging the sensors for another brand.
