I purchased what I thought was going to be the perfect solution to keeping the squirrels out of my herb boxes, which hang from my fence. I was wrong. These had ZERO effect on the squirrel. The squirrel walked across my fence as if they did not bother them at all. Once the squirrel was done digging up my planter box, HE TOOK A NAP ON THE SPIKES! Yes, a nap. I would not have believed it, but my video camera caught the entire thing. These should be re-marketed as a massage table for squirrels. Maybe it hits all of their pressure points. (sorry for the poor quality of the pic.)
