Okay, I admit I didn’t do my due diligence on this one. I glanced at the reviews and saw 4 stars average and I said to myself what a deal. Little did I know that most of those were probably written within the first week of use and before this piece of unmitigated junk started to fall apart. We’ve had this trash for approximately 2 months, I have been pleased with its performance even though it was slower than our original Keurig, which is understandable since it doesn’t have a preheated reservoir. Then it started the same slow spiral to doom the other reviewers have noted. The pump sounds a lot like a small dying animal choking on coffee as it manages to spit up a few drops before it dies. Then the lights starts blinking and you think, “there’s still hope”, so you hit the button and just as if you performed CPR the machine spits up s few more drops. You keep up the procedure until you get a full cup. I gave the thing about 15 of these “CPR” sessions this morning to get my cup of coffee. Along with all the spitting and gurgling coffee has come out of every imaginable opening on the machine. I guess it’s time to take this thing off life support and just let it go to a better place where coffee makers aren’t expected, to you know, make coffee. RIP FlexBrew.
