This is mentioned a couple times in the reviews but I’ll say it again, there are 2 versions of this feeder. The one with the pair of slots at each feeding port is the right one and the single oval opening at each port is the wrong one. The function of both feeders is the same and they’re great but the oval opening allows bees to get at the nectar so they drink it down fast and crowd out the birds. This is especially a problem for me because I keep honey bees. I contacted First Nature about this and the response was “try Walmart” for the newest version. My last complaint is the packaging was terrible. The pair I ordered arrived all bent up. This didn’t cause any actual problems but they look bad because of it.
