After 1 1/2 years, not so great anymore...UPDATED
My husband and I purchased My Pillow's after hearing Imus talking about them... His is a king size, mine is a regular size... We loved them at first, but now, 1 1/2 years later, we both agree they don't live up to their name.. They aren't any more comfortable than any ole foam pillow you could buy from a discount store... We've washed them as per the directions and we fluff them at night, but by morning, they're flat and uncomfortable.. As I said, we loved them at first, but they aren't worth the price for a pillow that only stays comfortable for maybe a year...
UPDATE: I contacted My Pillow to complain about our pillows. I was told they are guaranteed for 10 years and if we aren't happy with them, they would replace them. This sounded promising until I found out we would need to ship ours back (on our dime) and once they accepted them, they would ship us new ones. Because of the initial cost of the pillows, I was a little surprised by that. Shouldn't they just send us replacements with a shipping label to ship ours back? I mean, this is a company that has made millions from Imus's recommendation..
We had to ask ourselves, how long would we be without a pillow until they shipped new ones? And more importantly, we had already experienced their screwed up customer service once and really didn't trust them to get this right. We had ordered pillowcases for the king size pillow since store bought ones don't fit very good.. We received regular sized pillow cases.. These pillow cases cost $25, plus shipping, for a set of two.. On top of being over priced, they're made out of a very low thread count, aren't soft to the touch and are wrinkled like crazy when you take them out of the dryer..They remind me of the sheets we had when I was a kid back in the 60's. I contacted them and told them they had sent us the wrong size. They apologized and said they would ship out the correct ones immediately (at least they didn't tell me I had to ship the wrong ones back first)... Two weeks later, i had to contact them again to remind them to ship the pillowcases... another two weeks, had to contact them again.. In all it took about 2 months to finally get the king pillowcases.. We suspected the pillows would be the same thing and decided not to ship them back because we'd probably end up with nothing but frustration.
