Not for frequent fliers! This a cheap bag for folks that travel once or twice a year. The build quality is good, but the overall design is very poor. Some examples: The handle grabs seats when being pulled down the aisle of the plane. The feet on the base are near the middle of the bag instead of on the corners, opposite of the wheels. The compression straps are too short. Expanded, it is still small enough to carry on, so what’s the point of expanding? It should be barely legal when unexpanded. The foot placement makes it tip over easily. The TSA lock is a joke and an unnecessary hassle. It is a feature that novice travelers think they need. Experienced travelers never put anything in the bag that they can’t afford to lose. So the hassle of the lock is not needed in the first place. I sent this bag back after 1 trip and picked up the new Travelpro Max5 on Amazon for not much more $$. Well worth the upgrade!! Thank you Amazon for the easy return and credit toward the much better bag.
