The Omen Machine, The Third Kingdom, and Severed Souls all have one common problem--the endless repetition. Honestly, all three remind me of a writing assignment that is being stretched to reach a word count. All three books could have been made into one by simply eliminating the endlessly reworded repetitive descriptive passages. I think Goodkind needs to walk away from Richard and Kahlan for a while and come up with some new plot lines and/or characters.
