I really liked this until I tried to remove the base from the food processor to clean it. To use the food processor you must lock the base in place - fine, no problem. But good luck trying to unlock it. Watched YouTube videos and referred to manufacturer's website info. Still can't unlock it. Contacted Oster on January 16 for help. They said they'd respond within 3 working days - no response. On Feb 4 (after Jan 31 return window) they replied asking for additional info (including info I already gave them). Very disappointed in their unresponsive and ineffective customer service. Spend $$ at your own risk. Update: a friend with larger and apparently stronger hands was able to unlock the base for me. Now I can lock and unlock it myself. I DID NOT put it together wrong and there wasn’t anything stuck to prevent it from unlocking. Still gets one star for no customer support.
