There are 4 pics on the page, 3 of them are uploaded by the company, 1 of them was uploaded by a customer which showed the product is made by Inomata corp. in Japan. Although the description did not clearly state it is Made in Japan, the product page was made for that product. The item I received is Made in China and the quality of the plastic is subpar, even if it looks like the product. I emailed M.V trading and the reply was nothing less than provocative: "Please show us where on the listing description that stated Made in Japan...we did not advertised as made in Japan..you're welcome to return it if you not happy." The item is cheap and I really don't want to waste the time or effort to return it. However, from the company's response, I felt the company may be listing these ripped off products intentionally under the original product page. Their explanation doesn't sound any different from someone who just sets up a shop to sell brand name ripped offs, but when confronted, they tell you they never claimed they were selling them. Basically, I am left with "too bad you accidently ordered from us because you didn't read through the 85 customer reviews." Hope no one makes the same mistake I did. For $7, you deserve something that's made in Japan.
