I bought these Sola balls for my female cockatiel who is healthy & 14 years old. She started chewing up her favorite plastic ball that she has had for about 14 years for some reason so I got these to replace the plastic one. Turns out these are not safe. Within one week she couldn't go to the bathroom because her vent was blocked with pieces of the Sola ball. I could not get an appointment with a vet because of Covid & over booked everywhere. In a panic I put her in a bowl with warm water twice & gently washed her underneath & by the second washing it all came out & she is better now & going to the bathroom as normal. I'm still keeping an eye on her. I will NEVER give these to my bird. I hope my review helps someone else's bird. 😞
