First of all, don't air your dirty laundry in public if you don't want a response. So, in a nutshell. This author is a woman who a) loves to name drop; b) brags about how smart and educated she is and so, with her infinite wisdom ends up putting together fifi type shindigs like the met gala and fashion week and other stupid, vapid, "look at me" type gatherings for people in the know and on the go!!! (Sarcasm insert) All the while, this woman thinks she is an invaluable person in the world! Very important! Very important! So she sidles up to Melania at Vogue one day and digs her claws into Melania, thinking she is an invaluable part of Melania's life because they go to lunch once in a while and send texts with grade school emoji overload. She continues having a girl crush on Melania, telling Melania what she should wear (as if Melania needs help in that area) running over to Trump Tower whenever asked, getting excited over flying on a private plane, getting invited to dinner with DJT and family, getting flowers sent to her from Melania and other meaningless meetings with the Trump Family. She is ENTHRALLED with them. Never mind she knows how they operate. SHE KNOWS BETTER since SHE IS VERY IMPORTANT! The world would stop spinning if she stopped helping Melania!!! Time goes on.... she inserts herself in helping plan the inaugural, all the time she is pitting one family member against the other, spending $ on stuff that doesn't matter, has zero control over her "staff", does not get along with any other WH staff, is ignored by everyone but Melania and ignores her health and her family and complains NON STOP about her job and lack of appreciation. It's exhausting. Can you imagine having to listen to someone bitch non stop about everything??? This is why I have duct tape handy at all time. (sarcasm) Despite all the above, she NEVER LEAVES. She stays and complains. NON STOP! There is something wrong with this woman beyond what a few shrink sessions could cure. Why anyone would feel that special because Melania Trump has lunch with her? She then finds herself in trouble for how the inaugural $ was handled. Of course, NOTHING is her fault. She was railroaded, used, mistreated, underpaid... and on and on and on. I can hear the violins screeching in the background every time she finds something new to bitch about. I look forward to her next book about her road to recovery from the following: Name dropping Job hopping Her infatuation with people Why she thinks she is SO IMPORTANT Her ability to ignore major red flags Her ability to complain non stop Why she pits family members against one another Need I go on? If you want a good read where you laugh out loud at someone trying to be serious and garner sympathy, then go ahead. Give it a try.
