My cat can get out of this. It is NOT escape proof at all! Just like the last two I bought he slips his front legs out and twists his head until he can escape.. He is strong and when he gets frightened it is quick and he is out in a flash. I have to put three kinds on him to child proof him , as I call it... Do not trust this if you have a cat that gets scared out side. They can get out of these.
