The one star is for the appearance. I just bought this item and was looking forward to using it. Just as I was about to make a soup, I noticed that that the inside was flaking and the enamel fell off when I touched it. I also found a chip on the edge of the lid. This item has not been used yet and has been sitting on our counter top for a few days. Sadly I am returning it and will look for another brand. I want something that is going to last.
