It's a kitchen aid so I expect quality. I really want to love this. The color is gorgeous, I love the color. Here's why I don't like it. The glass bowl connects to the mixer with this rubber rim. You twist the bowl to to secure it to the mixer using the rubber rim. Well the rubber rim comes off the glass bowl easily. And it's difficult to put it back on. This has happenend multiple times. It comes off when washing, or when using! Last time I use it I made sure the connection was on well. Then I went to make cookie dough. When the dough thickened the glass bowl disconnected from the rubber rim (and the mixer stand) and started wobbling all over the place. I'm just glad I was there to catch it. My opinion. Get the metal bowl one. The glass is beautiful and I wish it were better. But its a giant headache.
