Ok, it's a nice garbage can but it has a few big flaws. As other reviewers have mentioned, the inside is not enclosed so any liquids that escape the bag could damage the floor. This is a concern for me because I have hardwood floors in my kitchen. My biggest complaint about this product is that is slides....every time I push the step to open it...the entire can will slide. Seriously, for a $200 garage can you'd think that Simple Human could put some anti slip rubber on the bottom. I don't want the garbage can again my wall because it has already caused damage from the hinge opening and closing. For this price...a garbage can should be perfect...this is not....
