We've had our Kreepy Krauley for 4 years. I keep putting money into it to replace pads, fix parts...it never has enough suction...always something. We also run our pump through a solar unit to heat the water. I can't run the Krauley and solar at the same time...Dolphin fixed all this. Here are a few of the issues: 1. the power chord twists up in knots and stops the sweep from accessing all the pool 2. Power button has to be pushed manually to use. Would be great to be able to put it on a timer 3. Works ok....not great. It does pick up a lot of stuff...but after a few months it does not climb the walls as well. 4. Now I'm assuming the power unit is going out. I have to redo the plugs and turn it off multiple times to get it to work. Sure it's cheap, but you get what you pay for, I'm upgrading to a better unit.
