What a piece of JUNK!!!!!!
I have the original smaller Millennium Quadcopter and that one has been a lot of fun. When I saw that this one was coming out, I had some extra gift cards and thought why not? It's a bigger version so it should be cool right? Nope. Anyone considering picking up one of these, don't bother unless you plan on it being a $300+ (with taxes) paper weight. For that kind of money this thing should fly like a dream and it's an epic fail instead unfortunately. 9 times out of 10 you'll have issues with the transmitter connecting and have to power on/off for it to re-establish. Even then, the thing has a mind of its own. It has an initial power spin up then goes full throttle regardless of how much you're applying to the throttle stick. The first time I tried it, it scared the heck out of me. Attempts to trim so that it won't drift are pretty much pointless as well. Mine would always drift to the right no matter what I tried. When it didn't drift, it would go full blast attempting to go through the ceiling and stay there until it lost power. Turning off the Falcon at the base of the copter itself seems to be the only way to get it to throttle down. After seeing multiple video reviews on Youtube and my own experience with it I sent it back. I really wanted this to be as awesome as the smaller quad but Airhogs if you're reading this you completely missed the mark on the XL Falcon. The market is definitely there for something like this but the price point for this particular version doesn't justify the purchase or how it performs. I'd love to see someone else come up with a better handling big Falcon to fly around.
