The vacuum is great! The filters, how they are currently designed, are a FATAL design flaw
If not for the filter design letting down the entire vacuum it would be a 5 star product. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because the *vacuum* itself is fantastic. The filter is terrible and ruins the entire vacuum. So as it sits, the vacuum is really just a lithium ion mess maker, until the filter design is redone. The filter only "seals" (or rather doesn't seal) against the walls of the dirt cup by plastic on plastic contact. The filters just have a slightly flexible plastic rim that is supposed to "friction fit" into the dirt cup. Unfortunately, this allows tons of dust to be sucked by the filter and get sucked into the motor and blown out around the top edges of the dirt cup. It will ruin the vacuum in no time and it isn't much of a vacuum if it just blows what you sucked up back out the top of the dirt cup and the back of the unit. With a simple redesign of the filter, this could all be solved and the vacuum would be amazing. Eufy, PLEASE, REDESIGN THE FILTER. It just needs to have a stiff plastic rim that fits tightly into the vacuum, plus it needs to have a small o-ring groove and an o-ring to make a right seal against the dirt cup. Much like the o-ring that holds the outer cover on. I know it's cheaper to make the filters out of just plastic without having to add an o-ring to them, but without it, this vacuum is a HUGE failure. This inexpensive plastic filter is letting down the entire vacuum. For this product to succeed, the filter must seal in some way. The current method just isn't sustainable. I will send an email in the next couple days with details and photos, but if you want to reach out to me before then, I'd be happy to work with you to help revise the filter design to fix the vacuum. If you don't revise the filter so it can seal better, you might as well mark these down to $6.99 now, because that's about all they're worth. Cheap enough to entice buyers, but not expensive enough for them to bother to return. However if Eufy isn't willing to revise the filter to make the product actually functional, I'll be returning it as well as revising this review accordingly. I get the impression that Eufy is a company that will work to improve their product, especially when it only involves changing one small disposable part, so I hope I'm not wrong on this. But for now, I can't recommend this to anyone, as it is right now. I do hope I can change this recommendation in the coming weeks, as I really like it, if it would seal.
