This is a cake pan & it bakes beautifully, but the folded corners are a PAIN to hand wash. Even though I bake with parchment paper so the batter doesn't touch the pan, it takes several minutes to dry the darn thing after handwashing. I dry it then push on each corner & dry the water caught in the folds, then go around the rim to get the water caught under the folded rim, then do it all again. Sheesh! I feel like an idiot for not noticing the USA 'Lasagna Brownies and Cake' pan, which is also 9x13, same material but it has handles and no folded corners. I think America's Test Kitchen blew it with choosing this folded corner pan over that molded corner pan & will probably end up buying that one & giving this one away. Note that these aluminum pans do transmit heat quickly & effectively so your cake baking times will be at the lower end of the spectrum: keep an eye on the cake as it approaches that low end as it may already be done. My first cake in this was done 2 minutes before the lowest time recommended by the recipe.
