Be Warned, High Failure rate
I am writing this to warn anyone who is thinking of buying this product. I have had 2 of these pads in the last 3 years. Both have failed in the same way. I heard an electrical noise then the pads no longer heats. The pads come on but do not heat. The first one I did not do or say anything about it as I had owned it for around 18months and the warranty was out. But when the second one did the same thing I was now concerned. I have owned it for just under 18 months and these pads have a warranty of 1 year so I called the company and talked with two different individuals (2 separate calls to different numbers) and they both gave me the same response, they are out of warranty and nothing can be done. I told them I new that and was just trying to see how the company felt about this problem. They acted surprised and that they had never heard of this problem. I would ask you to look at some on the ratings of 1 or 2 stars and see how many people have had the same problem. I explained to them that these pads are supposed to be professional pads and the quite expensive and that it seems to be a electrical issue that we as consumers can do nothing about. I also informed them that I was going to write this review on Amazon, they did not seem to care as a company. The people understood but said there was nothing they could due. I do like the heating pads when they work, I think they are great. But I will no longer buy this product. So You Have Been Warned buyer beware.Chattanooga Theratherm Digital Moist Heating Pad, Large/Standard (14" x 27")
