Rechargeable pack didn't last 6 months.
At first, this thing was great. The controller has a tendency to rip through batteries (I'm a pretty heavy gamer) - so this was a great substitute. Battery dying? No problem, plug in the super long USB cord, and you're good to go. Recharge and play at the same time. Great times. However, I ordered this in the first week of January, and by the first week of April, the battery was no longer holding a charge. I would plug in the USB, the batteries would charge up to 100%, and in less than 5 minutes, my Xbox would notify me that my controller's batteries are low. Not OK. Had it been 2 or 3 years, I would expect this to happen. But it hasn't even been 6 months - actually it's been 4. I'm out of the return window, which sucks - so there doesn't seem to be much I can do. Should the seller choose to remedy the issue, I'll update my review. But as it is, by my personal experience, this product hasn't lasted a sufficient period of time. I imagine I just have a bad unit, but there's really no telling.
