Fat edges are the problem
I love the idea however it took my son only 5 seconds after trying to pick it up from the edge of the bowl to go to the edge of the mat and pick up the whole mat. The edges are fat. Maybe if the edges were skinny that you needed a sharp tool or your nail to lift it up it would work better.
