I purchased this pool, and while filling it one of the vertical support bars crippled over dumping 8000 gallons of water and bending multiple of the other supports and the top bar. I assumed I had a lemon and contacted Intex. They opened my ticket and identified the pieces I needed. I thought everything was good, and I'd get my pool back up and running in a couple days. A week goes by and my ticket gets rejected because I now need a picture (understandable, but wish I was told at the beginning). Anther week goes by and now I find out it's rejected again. This time because I need to send back half the vertical supports. I still can't find the address nor can anyone give me any information. Once again why couldn't this be specified at the beginning warranty process, and why am I paying for the return shipping on a new product. After multiple conversations with support I find out they don't even have the vertical supports to send out. I'm now at 25 days trying to fix my pool, and I panic that it will never happen. I contact Amazon for a return, and they are sending someone to my house to pick up the pool in 1 day for a full refund. I sent back a pool, intex filter, skimmer, and solar cover. About $1500 that's now going to be a disappointing pile of junk no one can use, and all I needed was 2 vertical supports. A bit of advice for anyone trying to file a support case. The first level of support can't do anything, and they take your name for a manager to call you back in 2 days. Well they quote 1-2 days. I'm on day 3 and still haven't heard anything. Intex really needs to get there act together. Intex has permanently lost my business, and Amazon has proven once again why I buy as much as I can from them. As for the pool itself. The frame is a hollow tube holding (8400 gallons * 8.34 lb per gallon of water) 70,056 lbs. The weight is designed to pull on all sides of the liner, but is ineffective. The corners are just inserted into the sides and do nothing to maintain the shape. The pool is a headache. The best thing is the packaging. Some how they fit it into 2 large boxes. When you're ready to return it, you'll be amazed at the fact that there is now way it's going back in. If Intex support would've been better this might've actually been a positive review.
