The product description says "Apple" and the product number matches what Apple is currently listing for this adapter on their site, so I thought I would get an authentic Apple product when I ordered this. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Like other buyers here, this adapter came to me from seller Martin Heimann and it is a fake. The product packaging, despite trying to imitate Apple's style and font, is rife with errors. For example, the description on the back of the package says the adapter supports "Mirronring" on the iPad 2 and that it was made in Cupertion, California. I'm returning this to Amazon and I hope they remove this Martin Heimann character as a seller for this product.
