Gordon Ramsey should be ashamed of himself for backing this product. I have beena professional chef for 16 years and bought this product on Ramsey's reputation as a chef. What a mistake that was. First of all, it is very small for the price. It barely fits one bag of frozen french fries (unless they are waffle fires, then half), but does cook them very well and that's all it cooks very well. Only 2 8-ounce chicken breast barely fit in the basket and 3 chicken thighs at most, unless you like uneven cooking. The temperature control knob is very inaccurate with it's temperature readings so to cook from one temp to another is guesswork at best. Either things are getting done too quickly and burning or not browning at all. Making homemade fries in this was a joke, they turned out terrible. The only way to make proper french fries from scratch is to double fry them in a deep fryer, first at a low temp of 325, then at a high temp of 425. They were almost inedible out of this compact "convection oven". Clean up is definitely not as easy as they make it look. A heavy layer of baked on grease attached to the sides of the basket and the inside of the cooker almost impossible to get off once baked on. After 3 months of testing different products in it, sad to say, it found it's place in the dumpster for the trash pile.
