The title description clearly states Waterproof, unfortunately it is NOT Waterproof. During July 4th Fireworks, my senior dog was so scared to go outside (first time living in bigger city) he ended up relieving himself on our bed (twice). We had this under where he was sleeping the 2nd time hoping it would help, it DID NOT. And we caught it within seconds after he peed and it still soaked through several layers under this supposed 'waterproof' cover. Luckily it didn't reach our over $1,000 purple mattress. As our waterproof mattress protector was being laundered from the first time (earlier that night), our dog was too scared to pee outside. Overall horrible experience, don't waste your money if your want/need of this product is to prevent incontinence or accidents. We also bought one for our couch, because we have another dog that loves to lick everything, and instead of licking our couch he will just lick this cover and in that case, than yes his saliva will not get through this cover. But not really the point or main reason why most people will probably buy this. And you can spend the same amount of money and get something that will protect your couch/bed from both urine, saliva, etc. So I strongly recommend getting something else. Also, for those reviews that said the waterproofing worked up until a certain number of washes, we had only washed ours ONCE! I just received this product a week ago so there is no reason why it shouldn't do what it was advertised to do. If you want a great Waterproof and soft blanket that your pet will love- I bought at least 4 of these and they were actually tested that same night (July 4th) and never leaked! Hope that helps someone out, my 4 dogs love these blankets, they are like sherpa blankets and I love them because they are actually waterproof and I don't mind using them either. And you can't hear or really feel the 'waterproof' part, they don't crinkle or have a weird texture or sound.
