I was so disappointed with this product. It had good reviews online. I just needed something to flatten out the bedhead look in the mornings. The first use I at 380*. Afterward I noticed the glaze on the plates looked cracked. The second use, a week later, I wanted to add some curl so I bumped it up to 400*. It was making a melted plastic smell. I attempted my first curl and the plates fell off and one landing on my foot. The glaze was cracked more and it looks as though the glue to hold the plates melted! Will be returning this and never buying this brand again.
