★★☆☆☆
Aquasonic is essentially the dollar store version of Sonicare.
I feel obligated to warn anyone else who has used a GOOD ultrasonic toothbrush that these brushes seem to be manufactured as cheaply as possible. Technically, everything works. They're well designed and decently packaged. But as soon as you hold the brush in your hand, you feel the lack of quality. Like, everything is manufactured with some of the cheapest plastic I've ever encountered. No joke: it reminds me of the type used in disposable utensils. The handle is extremely lightweight, possibly contributing to the stronger sense of vibration, which is noticeably more annoying than what I'm used to feeling from my old Sonicare. But the lack of finesse felt from the brush in your hand is nothing compared to how it feels in your mouth. There is virtually no give with the brush head, meaning that the lack of flexibility feels like you're simply rubbing a vibrating stick against your teeth. It is... not pleasant. I brushed with this thing once and knew I was done with it. So, in conclusion, these brushes LOOK great, but for something that you should be using twice a day, every single day of your life, I feel it's definitely worth spending a little more on a higher quality product. I can't help but think the hundreds of glowing reviews are coming from people who have never used a name brand electric toothbrush.
