It handles reflections pretty well, but it's not meant to soundproof anything. I get that some people are looking for soundproofing material, but you won't soundproof anything with 1 inch of flimsy porous foam. I'd hit it with 3-4 stars for doing exactly what it's meant to do, but here's what's up: I do audio engineering as a hobby, and have soundproofed and acoustically-managed several enclosures and full rooms. I've purchased this product when it was $29.99 for 24 tiles. They jacked the price up to $79.99 and put it on sale for $49.99. I was going to purchase more to finish off a section of a vocal closet, but that price is insane for 24 foam tiles. Luckily, it's literally the same mediocre porous foam that every derivative "studio foam" company tries to sell, but it's definitely not worth $49.99. For that price, you could get about 36 of these tiles elsewhere, and a few bass traps too. If they drop it back down to $29.99, it's worth the price for 24 tiles.
