We got the new kindle fire hd shortly after it was released. The first one we got would not allow any email accounts to be set up. We worked with customer service (which was wonderful) and they decided that it must be our unit and shipped us a new one the very next day. The second kindle we got worked with the emails just fine, but it kept freezing up and not turning on. We would be using it and it would suddenly become non responsive. We would plug it in and charge it and it would not start up again. It would go to sleep and then we couldn't wake it up. Again working with customer service was wonderful. They started a log on the problem and the second time we called about it they offered us another kindle device. Sadly we had had enough and returned the unit for good. While we are very disappointed with the device itself and would not recommend it to anyone, we are grateful that customer service was so nice and easy to work with.
