RE: Starwest Botanicals Organic Dandelion Root Cut, 1 Pound Bag The first time I bought this product (spring of 2014), I was very impressed with it. The dandelion root was of high quality, and it was evident by the distinctive taste of this tea. Over the past six months, I consumed the entire bag, so in mid December 2014, I bought this same product again because I felt confident that I would receive the same quality within the bag as I received on my first order. BIG MISTAKE on my part, and here's why. I just brewed a cup of this Dandelion Root tea, only to discover that almost all of the contents (maybe 95% of the bag!!!) consisted of twigs and white chunks of some other type of tasteless roots; one thing I know for sure, and that is most of this material does not consist of dandelions. There is practically ZERO Dandelion Root taste in this new bag (even if you decide to chew a bunch of dried twigs, you'll discover this!). I believe the manufacturer is ripping off its good customers by substituting dandelion roots with cheap organic roots that are not even from dandelions, thereby making a huge profit through deception and deceit. I urge you not to buy this product; if you do, please keep the packaging and sample it immediately after you receive it; that way, you can return it back to Amazon.
