Don't cheap out and trust this to be genuine. Get something you can count on.
EDIT NOTE: I am currently in touch with Samsung support to determine if the charger I received was counterfeit or not, as I may have jumped to a conclusion too soon. This review may change to reflect information that I receive from Samsung, or I may replace it if I actually received a genuine charger.
This product, as many people have stated, is a counterfeit. I purchased mine from Amazon.com LLC, which I thought meant it would be genuine. Alas, as so many others have mentioned, it doesn't appear to be. Mine is marked as made in Vietnam (the genuine charger that I received with my Galaxy S5 Active was made in China, not Korea, which I found a little surprising. However, after some research they appear to either be made in China or Vietnam), and as soon as I opened it I knew it wasn't genuine. First off, it wasn't in the sort of fancy cardboard packaging that Samsung puts even their least expensive products in. The outside of the charger matches the appearance of the model number listed on it (ETA-U90JWE), and it was well sealed (I didn't take pictures of it before the carnage involved in opening it, unfortunately), but it also felt significantly lighter than the charger I got with my phone, model number EP-TA10JWE.
I didn't test it, because I knew it was a counterfeit and I REALLY didn't want to put my phone's life in its hands. After a bit of a struggle disassembling it (the top was heat-sealed/glued on), I managed to pull the board out. At first glance, I was a little impressed by the amount of isolation between the mains and DC voltage side of the PCB. But the solder job is just terrible, with the leads of the through-hole components sticking up excessively. I've included pictures for anyone interested (note that the prongs slide into the clips on the board. If anyone would like further pictures, please let me know and I'd be happy to provide them). I don't know the quality of the components very well, but given the failures others have had, I wouldn't trust this thing about half as far as I could throw it (at least one of the caps is Huahong branded, the others appear brandless as far as I can tell). I honestly do have to give them credit for the nice isolation on the traces, but seriously, I wouldn't trust this thing. Instead of cheaping out on this thing, put the $7 towards a charger you can trust.
Luckily for me, Amazon was quick to refund my money, although I had to contact them directly as this was listed as ineligible for return. If you get a counterfeit product from Amazon.com LLC (Amazon's official seller profile), don't stop if they list the product as unavailable for return. Contact Amazon - it might just get them to pull the product.
