My daughter received this gift from a well intention-ed family member and we thought it would be a great way to teach her about our government, especially since we are a family of civil servants. We were horrified at the author's attempt to brainwash readers into distrusting the government and that, "an unjust law isn't a law." What!? It should be noted that the author also distinguishes between "government" and "state." "Government is found in business, family, church, etc" while the state is "a monopoly using violence in a certain area." The inaccuracies in the text are astounding. I thought about donating the book but will be throwing it away instead.
