24" (this applies to the 14" to 24" size) is a deceptive measurement.
I love this kind of rods for their versatility -- french door open, french door closed with glass uncovered, french door closed with glass covered.
However, 24" is not the measurement of the part of the rod from which the curtain hangs. The maximum length you can get to hang the curtain from is 19-1/2" See my photo attached.
Returning these rods for a longer size.
