Please read the description carefully! Or buy these and fill your body with chemicals. Because the only cotton in these bags are the strings! Friends, you are getting plastic by products. I make hot tea, but even given that, it should NOT melt the ends of the bags into hard crunchy plastic! This tells me that even with semi hot tea, we are NOT infusing our tea with safe unbleached cotton. We are steeping our beverages in very cheap plastic-like material. I’ve used other tea bags before. I’ve never had this happen! So I experimented with low heat. My old cotton bags burned up as paper or cotton would. These tea bags however turn immediately to hard plastic! In the past I paid a little bit more for tea filter bags, and I will gladly pay a bit more for quality. Please people, if you care about your health, spend a little more and buy empty tea bags made from something other than cheap plastic. Now if my review sounds off, and you don’t care about the long term effects these could have on your body, go ahead and spend your $12 for 400 cheap and questionable tea bags that are plastic, not paper or cotton.
