This product dramatically failed the moment any significant weight (well under the 300lb limit) was placed on it. The welding on the hook that you attach the Hammock to gave way and sent me crashing on to the metal sharp stand causing blunt force trauma to my right side lower back - bruised horribly and I still have a swollen lump 2 weeks after the event. I am lucky I did not land straight on my spine and even more lucky my 67 year old mother did not try the hammock first! As you can see in the pictures the welding was all rusted and in no way safe for any weight!! Do not buy - dangerous product!!!!
