We have a very active strong 1 year old lab/pit mix. We took him camping & would clip him to his dog run or leash on the top clip (on his back). Usually when taking him on a walk we would clip his leash on the bottom clip (chest). Unfortunately when he pulls, the whole harness shifts & the straps on the chest part of the harness move around (away from the soft cover that makes it more comfortable) & rubbed his chest raw. If your dog doesn’t pull a lot this harness would probably work a lot better. I am past my return window, but due to the injuries to my dog I most definitely would not recommend this.
