I really loved these headphones. The noise cancelling is better than Bose and I love the touch cups. However, I discovered on a recent flight that the headband was cracking on BOTH sides of the headphones. I assumed that was because I have a larger head but upon further Googling I discovered that this is a massive problem and lots of people are experiencing the same issues. You can see in the attached photo that the beige inner plastic has a huge crack and there are also small hairline cracks forming on the outside, metallic plastic part. For context, I always keep my headphones in my case and I never sleep in them. I'm very careful with my things. They are strictly for work and travel so no extreme use here. Unfortunately it seems that even with babying the headphones, they just won't last. I paid way too much for these for them to break after less than one year. They are still operational but once the headband fully detaches from the ear cup, I guess I'll chuck these in the rubbish bin and seek out some higher quality Bose headphones.
