I have hiked and worn Tevas for the last 25 years and have hiked so many hundreds of miles in them, never having to break them in. In June, I ordered a new pair off Amazon to wear on my Pacific Northwest road trip hiking adventure. I wore them on a beginning 6 mile hike and was limping by mile 3 from blisters. I’ve never had to break in my Tevas before, especially since this is the same style I’ve hiked in for so many years. I chalked it up to needing to break them in so I let my feet heal for a couple weeks then tried it again, still on my road trip. Again, blisters on the top and bottom of my feet. I used my hiking shoes the rest of the trip and today at home, in MN, tried them for a third time. I have SO many blisters in my feet I can barely walk. I literally took my sandals off and walked barefoot the last half of mile because it was less painful. I am so sad this has happened since Teva is the one and only hiking sandal I have ever bought. I don’t have the box, I don’t have the receipt, as I was confident in my purchase but now....I can’t possibly wear these again.
