Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased this item based on one 5 star review, as that's exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for something non-fancy but would hold the normal letter size sheets, as most of the awards, artworks and schoolwork happens to be on the standard US letter size 8.5"X11" paper. This record book DOES NOT hold the papers of that size without folding. Please see the pictures I have uploaded. I took a picture of standard sheet on the record book and inside one of the envelope as well so you can compare the size of the book against the standard paper. You can also see the papers being crushed (if you keep them straight without folding)if you pull the elastic tie over. I won't mind folding school work etc. but I don't think anyone would like folding certificates and artwork. Like many people, I buy products based on reviews by people. I take the product rating very seriously and don't write reviews unless I do a thorough study to be fair. If you are looking at storing folded papers and smaller size docs/photos, this one shall do, otherwise please look at other products. Thanks for reading. Hope this helps.
