I don't Get it!
I don't get it...meaning all these glowing reviews. A disappointment from the get-go. The first 15 pages are full of annoying, amateurish adverbs. Numerous adverbs on each page and some back-to back in the same sentence. Such poor writing. Where was the editor? Too many repetitive flashbacks using backstory as filler. I skimmed over the backstory pages and skipped the surfing scenes. And, oh, the long, tedious sex scenes. I found myself skipping the boring prose. Wordy. Wordy. Wordy. For example, throughout the book, she used 30-40 words where she could have used 10. I skipped most of the prose and went directly to the dialogue. Then skimmed over those pages. Finding her sister was anti-climatic...didn't care one way or another. Thankfully, I didn't waste my money. I read the library book.
