As soon as I got this out fo the box I thought... "huh, kinda looks like a piece of vinyl with a snap". There appeared to be no conductors visible on the mat, front or back. That's interesting... can't really ground a mat or a person on a mat without a conductive surface. So I took it to my shop, got out the multimeter and set on continuity testing... zilch. This really is just a piece of some sort of vinyl-esque material with a snap to attach a plug. If there are conductors, they're not exposed on the surface and available to a meter, and furthermore not available to FEET and BODIES touching the mat. Either this company is simply too uneducated to know this or they are doing so fraudulently. Either way, I immediately initiated a return and am frustrated and angry.
