Not the Kiki I grew up with.
Before I bought this, I didn't know that Disney had redone its dub of Kiki's Delivery Service, supposedly to be more faithful to the Japanese version. This apparently involved removing a lot of the dialogue, replacing the English songs with Japanese songs, and taking out 80% of Phil Hartman's ad-libs as Jiji. The animation is beautiful and looks great on Blu-ray, but I was so startled when the Japanese song came on during the opening credits that I jumped.
Past my personal preference in the dub, a lot of Kiki's dialogue has a weird echo in the new version. This seems like a technical issue that should have been fixed.
I think I'm going to return this copy, because I don't see myself ever watching it. I found my copy of the 2003 DVD release recently, so I can enjoy the film as I remember it from childhood. If you're like me and first saw the movie on VHS in 1998, don't buy this version unless you're prepared for a lot of changes. As a side note, I believe something similar was done with the recent re-release of Castle in the Sky, so watch out for that too.
