Bell Tent
We purchased the 16.4 bell tent for an upcoming Moose hunt in Maine The tents canvas is double stitched and constructed very well it also has a nice rubberized floor that can be zipped out. The first complaint is the hole for the camping stove is so low . It is at the same level as the windows , so unless your stove is less than 25" in height it is pretty much not useful, We cut the stove pipe jack out of the lower portion and sewed it much higher on the roof panel of the tent. to make our stove work in it. So glad we set it up prior to our trip to get the stove figured out otherwise would not have been able to use a stove in it. Now that we have made the adjustment we cant wait to take it on our trip. Revision to original review . We have taken our trip and it rained, sleeted and snowed the first day and then rained for the rest of the trip. and the tent was not waterproof at all. it leaked everywhere, ended up with standing water on the floor. You could see the water running down the inside of the tent and but luckily enough pitch in the roof so no water dripping in the center . the water would run down the side wall and then go to the floor so had standing water in the tent the whole time. . We will have to invest in some waterproofing and take the time to waterproof it ourselves before our next trip and after setting up for the 3rd time to get the tent to dry out after a rainy week of hunting the rubber stopper on the center pole has ripped in half and not usable any longer. will have to figure something out. Very disappointed, for the money would have expected better.
