As a gem setter, I am very, very familiar with girasol opals. These are NOT girasol opals, they are white star quartz. Girasol opals are pyrophane in nature, which means the play of color of the opal (which in girasols, are a yellow/orange) seems to follow the sun as the stone is rotated. Although the other rocks are seemingly authentic, I am sending some of them out to be authenticated. I will not be buying from this company again, as they have misrepresented themselves in a very big way. Shame on this company for giving a card that authenticates fake stones! Shame on me for having faith that a company would never mis-represent itself.
