Updated 07/28/13 - These are NOT 2.0 Amp Chargers like advertised
I'm going on a trip soon and bought 3 of these charger/cord combinations, for extras on hand, under the assumption they are 2.0 amp chargers. I need the higher amperage charger since I have 3 Galaxy Note 2 phones. When I charged my phone with one of these chargers, the phone took 2 hours to charge %10. Usually, I can charge the phone from %0 to %100 in 2 hours. Noticing the difference in charging time, I downloaded a program called Galaxy Charging Current (it shows the amount of current your phone is currently charging at) and plugged in my OEM charger and cord. The OEM charger and cord registered on Galaxy Charger Current program that the phone was charging at 1.8 amps. I then plugged in one of these charger/cord combinations and they only registered .460 amps. Not even half an amp. I then tried my charger and one of the cords that came with the combo and it registered .500 amps. I kept trying multiple combinations of their cords/my cords/their chargers/my chargers and my phone never charged faster than .500 amps. Only a half an amp. The same you get when charging using USB. I am very, very disappointed. They must be knock-off's that look much like the originals. I do not like FALSE advertising. Period. I would give a -10 review if Amazon would allow it. Moral of the story, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. When will I learn? I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I have not contacted the seller and I don't even know if it would be worth it. Just wanted to let future buyer's BEWARE!!! UPDATE 07/28/13 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After arriving back from vacation, there was a package waiting in my mail box. The seller sent me 4 more Travel Chargers (no cords) free of charge and without any contact from me whatsoever. I never asked for any kind of replacements. I was just going to take a hit on the bad merchandise I originally received. This was a very nice gesture on the seller's part, and I appreciate it, but only one problem: The replacements are only marginally better than the originals. Two of the replacements register charging at around 1.1 amps while the other two register at around .700 to .900 amps. Better than the .500 amps I was getting with the first order, but still not as good as the 1.8 amps I get from the original charger and still not close enough to label these as 2.0 amp chargers. But since I appreciate the good gesture, I am going to rate this product at 2 starts now instead of 1, but in my opinion, the merchandise is still not as advertised.
